Photoshop File Menu: Printing
Page setup
Check the page set-up before printing. Check the paper
size, printer, the print scale, and orientation.
Print preview
When printing, select the print with preview. It will
allow you to change or select option that will enhance your print outputs.
Print window
Changes you made to page setup or the image size will be
shown in this box. This is important, to give you exact look for your image before
print out.
Print size
The default was set to actual size of the image, but
there are given option to rescale the image.
Scaled print size
Another way to change the print size. Very useful option
particularly use to reduce or enlarge by the set percentage, is invaluable when
making a test print. An image can be reduced to 20 percent, printed quickly,
and then converted back to 100percent for the final print.
Position
If the Print with preview window had opens, print
position is centered within the paper size. In vertical prints, this sometimes
appears unbalanced even though correct. By using Position to alter the framing
so there is a smaller border at the top than the bottom, the print will sit on
the page more comfortably.
Border
There are ways to reduce and enlarges borders to an
image. Click Border (from the Output sub menu) and add desired size and color.
Color management
To have most accurate colors and final tonality, color
management is required.
Output
In addition to your output, there are background color
and can also include crop marks on the print.
Print
Simply click the Print when everything is set. There are
several options and choices to make, just choose the appropriate and needed
action.
