- Muscular strength- the amount of force that your muscle can exert against resistance. When muscle use regularly, they become stronger, helping us to lift, push, pull, jump, twist, turn and bend. Having muscular strength prevent us from getting easily tired, and will correct our posture.
- Muscular endurance- is the ability to use muscular strength continuously.
- Flexibility- is the ability of our body to move through a full range of motion. If we are flexible, our body does not get stiff easily. Less likely to tire our muscle or have lower back pain.
- Cardiovascular endurance- is the ability to sustain vigorous activity that requires increased oxygen intake for extended period of time. You are able to walk up and down stairs for longer period.
- Body composition- your body is made up of two kinds of tissue; the fat tissues and the lean tissues. Our body composition is the percentage of fat tissues and lean tissues in our body. As we become physically fit, the percentage of fat tissue decreases. Females have more stored fats than males. Muscles, bones, cartilage, connective tissues, nerves, skin and internal organs are lean tissues. The types and frequency of exercise in which you engage influence body composition.
